**JOE** is a governance token used to incentivize liquidity providers and foster platform growth. The token distribution follows a fixed supply, decaying emissions model.

**What is the current daily emissions of the JOE Token?**

There are no longer daily emissions of the JOE Token. JOE has reached its capped total supply and thus, no more JOE tokens are being minted. There are still tokens that can enter circulation and the LFJ team will utilise currently locked tokens sparingly to drive growth across the LFJ Exchange when needed.

### Emissions <a href="#h_9ab09c3ac1" id="h_9ab09c3ac1"></a>

***There were no pre-sales, private sales or pre-listing allocations of the JOE token.***

All tokens were distributed according to emission schedule. That means that the team funds and treasury funds are distributed at same pace as the LP farms. We also have an allocation hold out for *future investors.* It means that if LFJ were to raise investor funds in the future, these investors would enter *after* the token launch, and not before.

* V1 AMM: 0.05% of all trades are paid to JOE staking
* V2 AMM: Variable fee depending on the Liquidity Pool is paid to JOE staking

All JOE tokens will be emitted according to distribution portion. Team, Treasury and Future Investor funds are emitted at schedule as public distribution to LPs.&#x20;

### There are NO more emissions <a href="#h_7a874c473a" id="h_7a874c473a"></a>

This means that the LFJ team are not minting new tokens and thus, the total supply of JOE has hit it's maximum intended supply. There are no  plans to change this maximum supply. There still remains a portion oftokens that have yet to enter circulation, so JOE is not a fully circulating token yet and the LFJ team still have tokens that can be utilised to incentivize growth across the LFJ ecosystem.
